Caught in a situation recently where ther were a lot of strobe hits on a scene. Obviously this kills most tracking, outside of direct supervised tracks.

A direct solution is to remove all the low-frequency changes, and focus on tracking detail. To do this I ran the footage through a high-pass filter — effectively negating the strobes. Tracking easier.
