Community Translation Project

Though we'd love to be able to offer SynthEyes in many languages throughout the world, the fact remains that tracking is a rather specialized niche application, and that makes translation impractical. The manuals are especially problematic, since they are over 750 pages long and constantly changing. Large companies have entire departments devoted to creating localized versions, including using teams of translators.

SynthEyes does feature a way to customize the user interface (menu and dialog text) to other languages. Our hope is that users will be able to contribute translations of some or all of the SynthEyes user interface for their own native language, for the benefit of their countrymen and -women. That's why we call it a Community Translation Project.

The translations take the form of XML files, which are initially created as a empty template by SynthEyes, and can then be edited by users with a text or XML editor to add appropriate translations. When different users work on different portions of the same language, we can combine the translations to a single best result.

For information on how to contribute, see the Community Translation Project section of the SynthEyes manual (Look under Basic Operation).

Contributed Translations

Sorry, we don't have any translations yet! Be the first to contribute!

SynthEyes easily is the best camera match mover and object tracker out there.
